We can offer a wide array of services for you when you have concerns about your trees. We can ensure your trees get the right care with our expertise and knowledge. Trust us to complete your project on time and on budget. The work of a tree surgeon involves all aspects of arboriculture, which is the care of trees, and includes such tasks as pruning, planting and felling trees, as well as studying, inspecting and cultivating them.

We can provide the following services…
Crown reduction
This is the general reduction of the trees crown sides and top and involves cutting back to the growing point thus ensuring the continued health of your tree. This can be done for the purpose of allowing more light through or if the size of the tree has become a cause for concern regarding overhead cables etc. The tree will be left with a tidier and more compact shape.
Crown thinning
Also known as “dead wooding”, this involves the removal of dead, dying or diseased branches which can allow more light through the canopy and improves the overall structure. This helps to ensure the continued health of your tree.
Crown lifting
This is carried out to increase the clearance between the ground level and the lower branches either to allow access below the tree, to clear sight lines, improve views or allow light to penetrate to the ground.
Tree Felling and Dismantling
A tree can be felled from the base if space allowed and can be done in a highly controlled and accurate manner. If this is not appropriate due to space restrictions the tree is dismantled in sections and lowered piece by piece to the ground.
Stump grinding / removal
We have specialist machinery that makes light work of removing tree stumps. If left in situ, stumps can attract unwanted fungi which can spread to your healthy trees. Tree stumps can also look unsightly and removal allows the area to be replanted, turfed etc.
Tree planting
We can source and plant all species of trees in accordance with BS3998 and BS 4043. Trees should ideally be planted between October and March during a frost free period.
Site clearance
Whether you have just moved into a new property and the layout of the outside space is not to your liking or if your garden has become a little out of control, we can help you to reorganise so that all you have to worry about is enjoying your garden space! We can remove unwanted shrubs or hedges & turf.
Hedge cutting
Hedge maintenance is important for the health and well-being of your hedge and ensures a dense and compact shape which reduces the chances of disease. We can also tackle the most neglected of hedges in order to bring them back under control.
Hedge laying
We can also work with you if you require a new hedge. We can discuss your requirements and suggest some suitable species. There are many variables to be taken into consideration. Would you prefer an evergreen hedge, ones that flowers, is scented? Do you need a variety that will grow and fill out quickly to provide a barrier or screening? We can help you to narrow down the choices, prepare the ground, supply and plant, and advise on the aftercare.
Grass cutting
Maybe, you just need your lawn cutting. We can keep your garden looking trim and cared for!
